The trusted Islamic Foundation imprint, established in 1973, which focuses on Qur’an, Hadith and sirah, Children’s Publishing and Islamic Economics. Among its important publications have been the Qur’an commentaries of Abu’l A‘la Mawdudi, Sayyid Qutb and Abdul Majid Daryabadi, the sirahs of Zakaria Bashier and Adil Salahi, and Tariq Ramadan’s To Be a European Muslim. Several of its ground-breaking titles on Islamic Economics have won international awards, and it has been a noted pioneer of Islamic children’s publishing in English since the 1980s with authors such as Khurram Murad, Dawud Wharnsby, Sara Khan, Naima B.
